The 2008 NFL season is only weeks away, and all your favorite players are getting ready for opening day.  And so should you!  Brett Favre is the big story in the league right now.  Will he suit up again with the Green Bay Packers, or is there any truth the rumors that he’ll be traded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the New York Jets

After a stunning defeat of the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, the New York Giants are the reigning NFL champs.  Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys will give Eli Manning stiff competition in the NFC East.  And don’t forget about Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles.  There’s no doubt about it—this year’s NFC East is definitely stacked!

In the AFC, Tom Brady and the Patriots are still the team to beat.  If the Indianapolis Colts can keep key players healthy through the season, however, Peyton Manning and his team will be definite playoff contenders.  The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Jacksonville Jaguars are right in there too, having both come off great 2007 seasons.

Maybe your collection features a lot of greats from the past.  Miami Dolphins fans, check out our selection of Dan Marino memorabilia.  Cowboys fans can build their own “Ring of Honor” with a few pieces of Troy Aikman or Emmitt Smith memorabilia.  If you’re building up your San Francisco 49ers collection, why not pick up a piece of signed Joe Montana memorabilia?  Jets fans, you can’t go wrong with a Joe Namath signed football or helmet.  And if you’re a fan of the New York Giants, a Tiki Barber signed photo or mini-helmet is the way to go.
