Glass Mini Helmet Case
Matt Hasselbeck Autographed Signed Seattle Seahawks Mini Helmet. He is an American football quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. He attended Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwoood, Massachusetts. He was drafted out of Boston College by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the 1998 NFL Draft (187th overall). He began his pro career with the Packers, where he backed up Brett Favre, making his debut in 1999. In 2001, the Packers traded Hasselbeck and their first (17th overall) and seventh round draft picks to the Seahawks for their first round pick (10th overall). His team jersey is #8. Hasselbeck initially did not live up to expectations in a disappointing 2001 season, where he was eventually replaced by Trent Dilfer. Dilfer led the Seahawks to a surprising 9-7 record and was named the starting quarterback for the 2002 season. However, Hasselbeck replaced Trent Dilfer after an achilles injury midway through the 2002 season and rallied the Seahawks to an encouraging 7-9 finish. Despite playing barely half the season, Hasselbeck passed for over 3000 yards. After winning the overtime coin toss in a 2003 playoff game against Green Bay, Hasselbeck said, "We want the ball and we're gonna score." On a possession later in overtime he threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown. It was later learned that his receiver had actually ran the wrong route that was supposed to be a quick slant, right where the Packer defender was. Hasselbeck was named to the Pro Bowl in 2003 after leading the Seahawks to a 10-6 season and leading the NFC in passing.
